Earlier this month, the KUARIO commercial team had an exciting opportunity to participate in Libraries Rewired, a dynamic tech event for libraries held in the beating heart of London. As a solution built for and alongside libraries across Europe, this was a valuable chance for us to connect with library delegates and showcase our latest printing and payment technology in the Digital Solutions Lab.
Diving into the Library Tech Landscape
During the event, attendees could explore the latest library innovations hands-on and exchange ideas with technology suppliers. Our KUARIO booth was a hub of activity, with delegates eager to learn how our solutions can address libraries’ unique needs regarding customer experience and operational efficiency.
We were thrilled also to have our local UK partner, iTS, join us in representing KUARIO and sharing our expertise on the benefits of self-service for library staff and visitors. The team is our trusted partner with over 35 years of experience in the print, copy, and scan industry and a dedicated team of experts to support our UK clients.
The energy was through the roof! One highlight that stood out was seeing the Camden Libraries team run a captivating Lego Robotics coding lab. You should have seen the excitement on everyone’s faces as they brought their coding creations to life! It was inspiring to witness how libraries are finding creative new ways to foster digital literacy and computational thinking within their communities.
Another major draw was the keynote on AI use cases across different industries. Hearing about how public organisations like libraries, healthcare, and legal leverage AI as time-saving tools was truly fascinating. The insights sparked ideas on how transformative technology could enhance the library experience.
Connecting with the Library Community
A gem of our London trip was connecting with the impressive team at City Lit, an adult education college in the heart of the city’s West End. We were thoroughly impressed by their modern, accessible facilities and diverse range of impactful community programmes. And the best part? They’re integrating our KUARIO MFP Kiosk solution into their libraries, empowering visitors with seamless self-service printing, copying, scanning, and cashless payments – a missing piece in their previous setup.
For the KUARIO team, Libraries Rewired was far more than just an event. It was a chance to dive deep into the evolving library technology landscape, gather valuable market insights, and explore incredible collaborative opportunities. We left the event energised and eager to continue working alongside libraries to drive innovation and better serve their communities.
